PAYMENT IS DUE AT THE TIME OF SERVICE.
Why are we a fee-for-service practice?
Saddle Up Therapy, LLC prefers to be the gatekeeper in our clients’ therapy journey, unbound by the mandates of insurance companies and free to follow a plan of care that is best suited for each client as designed by the therapist. To maintain that freedom, we are a fee-for-service model, much like a dentist’s office, and expect payment at the time of service. We do not employ a sizable staff to deal with the myriad of issues that insurance companies propagate.
We understand that a fee-for-service may be difficult at times for some families; however we do accept credit cards and healthcare savings cards (HSA & FSA) as well as cash. While we make a commitment to our clients in our scheduled time and plan of care consistency, we encourage you to make a commitment to your therapy in the form of an up front financial investment. After your sessions, if you choose to file directly with your private insurance for reimbursement, we can provide you with a superbill that can be used for that purpose.
We believe in using evidenced based practices to help you or your child achieve meaningful functional outcomes.

Looking for something gratifying and rewarding?
We have an ongoing need for staff to help with therapy sessions in two different capacities. Both positions are contracted, allowing variable schedules and full or part-time work. Previous experience with horses is preferred, but not required.
A “side-walker” walks along the side of the horse to help clients maintain their seat during riding sessions, and acts as a safety net for clients in case of emergency.
A “horse-handler” exclusively manages the horse before, during, and after riding sessions. This includes grooming, tacking up, leading at the direction of the OT, maintaining control throughout, and untacking afterwards.
Both positions are also responsible for additional duties as assigned to complete scheduled hours.
